No internet = reading

So we currently have no internet at home. Thank g-d for WiFi at work! I think I would die! Anyways, since I haven’t been able to be online every waking hour at home, I decided to finally pick up a book. I used to read ALL the time…and I don’t think I have read one book in the last year, maybe even longer! I have picked up a couple books to read, and I just never really read past the first couple of pages. Now that I need something to occupy my time, I decided to finally go back to reading. I’ve already read in a week and a half:

The Husband by Dean Koontz
I know the book is like a year old already, I think I bought it when it first went to paperback…it was actually a really good story.

Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin
Yeah this one is like 3 years old! I have heard a lot of good things about it, and just never picked it up. When I went to visit my mom last week, I noticed my sister had it in her room, so I took it upon myself to take it with me! I couldn’t put it down! I read it in 2 days!

End Week 4

So I skipped posting last week, because I couldn't bear to post about another gain. Granted it was only 1/2 lb, but still. I don't know what's wrong with me! I just can't stay motivated.
When I know that I can't get to the gym, that's it for me, my thought process becomes "who cares". Dammit I care!!

This past week wasn't so great either. I did lose 2 pounds but I'm still a really long way from my goal. I closed at work all week, and so I didn't get home til after 10pm, and then Wednesday and Thursday I went home to surprise my mom, and then I got some injections in my back, and so my back is out of commission for 3 days.

This week will be a better week - I hope.

Down 2lbs and 20lbs to go!

End Week 2

So today is not a very happy day on the weightloss standpoint. But it's my fault and no one else's. I have no one to blame but myself.
We never did go food shopping last Sunday, and therefore I didn't bring my lunch to work, I worked late almost every day, and therefore didn't go to the gym...
I need to get back on track. We went shopping last night, so the lunch part will be easy. I'm working late again this week, but the gym is open until midnight, so I don't have an excuse!

The name's Mater... know like Tow Mater, but without the Tow! LoL I love that movie.

I haven't gone out with Chanele to take pictures in awhile, and so we decided we would go out today to Old Hyde Park Village, and decided to take her one year old Boxer, Mater, with us as a model. He was so cute. Didn't listen very well, but cute nonetheless!!

End Week 1 - for real this time

Yay!! I knew I could count on Weight Watchers to help out with this weight issue I am having! I was really good. I brough my lunch to work nearly every day last week. I also went to the gym 4 times!! If I can keep this up, I will be skinny in no time (yeah right)!!

Must.Stay.Motivated more more "just today" more "I don't feel like it".....just NO MORE!! I need to stay focused and motivated because this just is not acceptable to me ANYMORE!

I am starting Weight Watchers back in full force beginning TODAY!

So as of today my new goals:
1) Go to the gym AT LEAST 5 days a week
2) Always bring my lunch
3) Track what I am eating and points

All great things must come to an end!

The last 3½ days were probably the best I have had in a long time! I met 2 fabulous women in person, finally after 2 years. They are just as amazing in person as they are online!

I am so glad to have created 2 more lifelong friendships.

We went to International Plaza and ate dinner at Champps. It was pretty good, dessert was a bit of a disappointment, but we ended up just coming back to my place and drinking it up!!
